Merchant Spotlight: World Press Photo Montreal
September 25 2017 |
The World Press Photo was founded in 1955 when a group of Dutch photographers organized an event for their colleagues to exchange knowledge and show their work. Since then the event has grown into one of the most significant photo exhibitions in the world.
The World Press Photo works with visual journalists who promote freedom of speech and freedom of expression all over the world. The award winning photos are displayed in 45 countries and 100 cities every year. Over 4 million people attend the World Press Photo exhibition annually.
This year we welcome the 12th World Press Photo Montreal exhibition that traditionally takes place at Marche Bonsecours in the Old Port. Many of us at Pivotal Payments go every year and this year is not an exception. It is an eye opening experience that allows people to see the world as it is, raw and real, through the lenses of visual artists. The photo art brings up all kinds of emotions and puts life into perspective.
We are proud to be a payment processing partner of a world class event like World Press Photo Montreal. The Montreal exhibit is on display until October 1, 2017. We encourage you to visit!
